Moving to Heal: A LEGACY OF LOVE + PLEASURE
Thursday July 18, 2019
Lead by Debbie Rosas, founder of The Nia Technique®, formal and informal caregivers will explore the purpose, potential and possibilities for taking care of self while taking care of another.
Guided by the design and function of the body, each person will learn to interact with their personal felt sense of physical and emotional comfort, pleasure, and wellbeing, with the intent to foster self-healing, defined as incremental steps toward “I feel better.”
Based on the science of the body’s design and function, Nia delivers therapeutic, rehabilitation and conditioning to all functional levels. This somatic communication with self includes methods and language that places the patient and the caregiver at the center of the healing experience.
Friday, August 23, 1:00- 2:30 pm
