Exercise and Resistance Training for ages 55+

This 8-class series introduces weight-bearing resistance and balance exercises, in a safe, fun and supportive environment , and is appropriate for those who have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis or lowered bone mineral density. We will focus on posture while per forming functional strength and balance t raining, combined with low to medium impact aerobic conditioning exercises. Use of resistance
bands, free weights and balance t raining tools will be incorporated. Participants should be able to walk at least one lap around the track independently to safely participate, or discuss with instructor prior to registration.
