Tune up for the TARHEEL 10 or 4 miler – Running Education Series
Join UNC Wellness Centers’ personal trainers, performance center staff, dietitians, massage therapists, physical therapists, and UNC Sports Medicine for an informative 4-lecture series on running leading up to the Tarheel 4-miler and 10-miler. This series will cover 4 different topics to help participants meet their running goals safely, comfortably, and successfully. A panel of support staff will be available during the last 20-30 minutes of each lecture for a Q&A session. This Education Series will be held at the Meadowmont Wellness Center.
January 13th, 6:30-8:00 pm: Let’s Run: Getting Started
February 17th, 6:30-8:00 pm: Strength and Injury Management for Runners
March 2nd, 6:30-8:00 pm: Efficient Run Technique and Recovery
April 6th, 6:30-8:00 pm: Race Day Prep
