Walking Challenge: 70,000 Steps in 7 Days

In support of Medical Fitness Week, UNC Wellness Centers are participating in the 10th Annual MFA Worldwide Walking Challenge, April 28th-May 4th. This Medical Fitness Association event aims to encourage more movement by striving to walk 70,000 steps in seven days, especially since walking is the easiest way to incorporate physical activity into your lifestyle. Anyone can participate and the challenge is free if you own a pedometer! You can register at the front desk. UNC Wellness Centers won the award for the most steps recorded in 2013.  Put on your walking shoes and help UNC Wellness Centers take first place again!
